Lost In My Own Space
The weather is beautiful outside and I'm not even going to complain that it seems like we went from winter to summer and bypassed spring altogether. It does make coming in for lunch and relaxing a bit more enjoyable though just to get out of the heat for a bit. I sat down and watched 'Lost In Space' on HBO while I ate lunch today. I love that movie. It's just a redux of the old series, but fun. It's corny too and vastly improbable like many space movies of its kind, but the 'sappy' yet heart-tugging premise of a father's love that isn't always understood by a child is compelling enough to overcome all the sappy retroness of the movies theme.
